Introduction
This website contains an audio version of the New Testament portion of World English Bible. The original text can be found at the website WorldEnglish.bible. The World English Bible was placed in the Public Domain by its translator, Michael Johnson. In the spirit of his generosity, and also because God's Word, having been freely given, should ideally be freely available, this audio version of the World English Bible has also been placed in the Public Domain. The text has been converted to audio using the services of Podcastle.ai
These messages have been created to demonstrate the current technology for
converting text to voice using AI. They will be updated periodically to demonstrate some of the inexpensive AI text to voice options, and help people to work towards providing audio versions of the Bible which are copyright free, and which may be distributed freely. Conversions to other languages are also planned.
